Triangle Timing was founded in 2015 by Mackenzie Gray, a lifelong track ethusiast with over 10 years experience in the sport. Mac started as a high school athlete who, after graduating, began a career as an official and timer. As a USATF Master official, Mackenzie has worked meets across the United States and received the National Outstanding Official award for 2016 from USATF..
As a coach, Mac led the Minnechaug XC and T&F teams for 5 years leading to numerous sectional qualifers, school records, a Western MA championship, and a handful of national qualifers.
More recently, Mac has worked at Lynx System Developers leading customer education and technical support for FinishLynx Photofinish users. He recently traveled to Grenada to provide training and event supervision for the 2016 CARFITA trials as well as a four day training for the members of the Egyptian Athletic Federation at the Sport Center for National Teams Maadi in Cairo, Egypt. He has also worked with the Omani Athletic Association providing training and certification.
Locally, Mac has served on the board of the Western MA T&F Officials Association, Sugarloaf Mountain Athletic Club, as Race Director for the Jonno Gray 5K, Five College Realtors 10-Miler, and the Wilbraham Turkey Trot. He is also the current director for the Western MA T&F Divisional Championships.
